France September Intake: A growing number of international students are choosing to pursue higher education in France. Prior to applying for admission to French universities, applicants must decide on a program of study. After that, narrow down your list of universities to which you must apply and submit your application by the deadline. In 2021 and 2022, there will be over 400,000 international students enrolled in France, according to Campus France. Every year, French universities offer two intakes: one in January (spring intake) and one in September (fall intake).

6 Steps for France September Intake 2024 Admission
Step 1: From March 2024 to April 2024

  • Start early and choose 10 to 12 top French universities to apply to. Pay attention to the application requirements, due dates, and other information on the websites of the top French universities.
  • By that time, you should be familiar with the options for bank loans and scholarships in France to help fund your education.
  • Download the university’s admissions brochures first from their websites. The majority of brochures are distributed earlier, by more than a year.
  • Do some preliminary research on the various options for lodging.

Step 2: Pass the tests well: From April 2024 to June 2024

  • Depending on the course and the university, prepare for standardized tests like the GMAT, GRE, SAT, TOEFL, or IELTS. Studying in France without taking the IELTS is offered by many universities.
  • Enroll for the GMAT/GRE by April, which is three months before the test.
